My horse Grunon had an accident in the pasture in November 2021, resulting in a torn tendon and bone damage. Due to the unloading, he developed arthritis of the proximal joint in his right leg. This has already been treated with cortisone injections twice, with limited success. Despite additional supplements and medication, the results have not been consistent. In the summer of 2023, my horse was diagnosed by the vet with osteoarthritis in both hind hocks. So far, "good"; I finally had a diagnosis I could work with. I tried countless feeds, from powders to liquids to infusions – costing a total of around €3,000. Not a single one had a long-term effect; usually only 2-4 weeks, and then the whole thing started all over again. The worst thing for me was watching my horse desperately want to play in the pasture with his friends; he wanted to run, buck, and just live, but this simply wasn't possible, and I had to watch him lose his joy in everything. I was truly desperate. Not only was he no longer able to go out to the paddock every day (I had to make it dependent on his mood that day – lame, not lame), but I also had to wrestle with myself every day: "Should I do something with him today? Let him run? Go for a short ride? Or just go for a walk again?" It was a cramp… Then, by chance, I came across PETPEARL at the Wels trade fair. I listened to her presentation and thought to myself, "Yes, I'll give it a try!" Following the motto "If it doesn't help, it won't hurt." And all I can say is: LUCKILY I TRIED IT! I stopped all the supplements I'd been feeding up to that point because I wanted to know exactly what was going on. My horse has been fed PETPEARL Premium once a day since the beginning of May , and since then he's been completely lame-free (no other supplements, ONLY Petpearl)! I could hardly believe it myself. My horse is running up and down the paddock with all his friends again, keeping the younger ones in check, and we can do everything again, from rides at all gaits to our training (adapted to his age, of course). Second Petpearl experience report as of March 2025:
My horse (20, turning 21 in May) has been fed Petpearl Premium daily for 10 months now, and things have only been going uphill for us ever since. My trainers thought, or rather, feared, that I would have to put my horse into retirement very soon, as he had been diagnosed with arthritis in both hind joints and was repeatedly lame (not just a little, but severely lame... Veterinarians, physiotherapy, osteopathy, saddlers, dentists, etc., nothing helped, or no one could help us). It was a daily roulette game of whether I would be able to exercise my horse or not... Then, in May 2024, I discovered Petpearl at the Wels trade fair. I ran out of all the supplements I had been feeding him up to that point and started using Petpearl Premium (only that!). Within a month, my horse was a different horse, not lame for a single day, no matter the weather or temperature! I was able to start riding again! Things started to look up. I slowly started to feel confident enough to ride in training again, and neither I nor my trainers could believe it. My horse had all of his energy and motivation back, whether under saddle or in the pasture with his friends! It was fantastic to see my horse so happy again! Little by little, we slowly started to dare to go to small competitions again (Class E Working Equitation). Not only did it give us fun and enjoyment, we even managed to take first place at a competition in November (and that was despite the fact that my competition was mostly made up of young horses! We won the speed trail up to the house!). We were able to compete in three competitions last year and even made it onto the Austrian national rankings in Class E! I still can't believe everything that has happened since the diagnosis, and especially what the Petpearl team has done for us! I am so grateful to you and can only warmly recommend your products!
I now also feed the Petpearl Booster before training sessions or an upcoming tournament, and this product also delivers what it promises!

We had the opportunity to meet the manufacturers of Petpearl products at the Schleyer Hall in Stuttgart. After a very interesting conversation, we decided to purchase Petpearl Premium for our two older horses (18 and 21 years old) and Petpearl Basic for our 5-year-old. After a period of four months, we can see a great development in our horses. Our 21-year-old grey has been suffering from recurring bouts of arthritis for the past two to three years and requires a rather long warm-up phase. His motivation to exercise also left a lot to be desired. For about four weeks now, he's slowly regained the urge to move, and he wants to jump again. The mare is in great spirits. She has detoxified and broken down water retention, and she regularly attends jumping lessons. Furthermore, all three have developed a great coat and healthy hooves. The products have proven absolutely effective and can be recommended without hesitation!
